How To Trace Your Ancestors in Denmark, Sweden, and Norway

This presentation will cover strategies for identifying immigrant Scandinavian ancestors and how they may be traced to Europe from North America. David will be covering methods for identifying Scandinavian immigrant ancestors. As part of the talk, he will be offering some quick guides to the history, geography and language of these Northern European countries. In addition, he will be providing historical timelines, sample records and resource lists that will bring your family ancestry to life.

David founded Family Tree Magazine, the nation’s most popular genealogy publication, and continues to write for the magazine as a contributing editor and “Now What?” columnist. He is the author of eight books. He has spoken to numerous genealogy societies, and has spoke to us about Revolutionary Ancestor Research. He also has lectures online for Family Tree University.
